Holliston's Miller Elementary School has an upcoming opening for a 3rd Grade French Immersion Teacher for the 24-25 school year.  This is a 1.0 FTE position (7:25am-2:10pm). The start date for this position is August 26, 2024.

Requirements:

French Immersion is a program of instructions where children are taught solely in the French language. It is considered traditional with respect to the standards-based curriculum, classroom organization, structure of the day and materials, but is predominantly teacher-directed due to the importance of language modeling.  The Early Immersion Model capitalizes on the ease with which young children acquire language in a natural setting where the new language is the only means of communication. In this way, a new language is acquired through listening and speaking.  Generally, students enter the program at the kindergarten level.

If you are interested in applying for this position at Miller Elementary, please submit a cover letter, resume, and three (3) letters of reference.

This position will be supervised by the Miller Elementary School Principal or their designee.
